Our story
It's more than just a shirt.
ARMADURA designs football kit and clubwear for Victorian clubs. Since 2018.
Where it started
Football is fashion.
I've always seen football apparel as fashion. The problem was, nobody else in Melbourne did.
At five or six I was cutting up my own clothes to make them look different and drawing my own designs on plain t-shirts. Then football took over. The fashion never left.
The first kit
A plain blue shirt.
Brunswick City's kit was plain blue, off the rack, with sponsors pressed on. It was a uniform. Nothing about it said Brunswick.
I saw the biggest opportunity in the game right there: bring design, fashion and style into a piece every player is proud to wear. The love I have for fashion, in the game I love.
I called it ARMADURA. Body armour. Because that's what a kit is when you understand what it does.
Our first Brunswick City kit, 2018. Every kit since has gone further.
Football in this country was built by the communities who came here and started clubs. Those clubs carry real history. Their kit should carry it too.
"This is something I can wear out."
That's the point.
Year three at Brunswick City, about our windbreaker.
Then the clubs came
Design first. Always.
By year two, other clubs were coming to us. Northcote City stood out. They saw the level of design and the fabrics we were using and wanted the same for their club.
Four years later they made the Australia Cup TV rounds. We made them a one-off for the cameras: Hercules and his father Zeus, tone on tone across the whole shirt. It became their next season's kit.
Every club since has started the same way: their story, their colours, their history. Never a catalogue template with a badge on it.
Northcote City. Hercules and Zeus, tone on tone.

No Vanilla.
No Vanilla is not settling for a uniform. Not settling for what everyone else wears. It's owning your identity and expressing it on the pitch, in the stands and on the streets.
On the pitch
Match kit designed around your club's story, in fabrics players feel the difference in.
In the stands
Training gear and supporter wear your members actually want to buy.
On the streets
Off-field pieces made to be worn out, not just to training.

Because it's more than just a shirt.
We arm the passionate with pride.
So NO VANILLA.
